STD-DUO Dosing Unit with progressive cavity pumps for successful “MICROdosing”

Description

Progressive cavity pumps, with controlled and continuous volume, are the answer to the latest requirements of the market regarding fluid dosage applications, where high precision, reliability, versatility and repeatability are required. This technology allows to dose – with only one device – a wide range of fluids, from products with very low viscosity (water, oils, etc.) to very
viscous products (up to 1,000,000 mPa) such as greases, pastes, silicones, various sealants, mono and two-component
resins (also with added abrasive fillers), guaranteeing a homogeneous and constant supply in every situation.

The heart of the pumps are the “endless” helical screws, called “ROTORS”, in AISI 304 or 316, inserted in specific «STATOR» holding supports, available in various materials (NBR – FKM – FFKM – EPDM – etc.), depending on the compatibility of the fluids to be transferred. This dispensing technology allows to perform precise dosages, independent of the viscosity fluctuations generated by possible temperature variations.

The progressive cavitation pumps are driven by brushless or step-by-step motors with encoder, which allow to manage dosages with a wide range of available flow rates.
